Giving: The surest way out from poverty
Giving has been the only way mandated by God for the salvation of humanity. Until something painful, costly and lovely goes out from a man, he can never get more in return. This is one of the greatest multiplication principles God has laid down for us. In John 3:16, God demonstrated this act by sacrificially, painfully, costly and willingly releasing his only begotten son to die for us so that he may have so many of us back.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life” John 3:16. The act of giving might looks foolish and unreasonable but yet it is the greatest multiplication formula ever made available and laid down for us by God himself through the demonstration of the above verse in the book of John.
Jesus further said,”Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.” | John 12:24. Giving is entirely the simple ways out of poverty. The word poverty means here, scarcity. Until the little in your hand is sown for multiplication, be rest assure, sooner than later, you are surely going to be in terrible want. In Luke 6:38, Jesus clearly affirmed, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
Who doesn’t wants to given back in a good and pressed down measure? Everyone wants. Man was created with an insatiable vacuum. The more you think you have enough the more the needs to get more arises. So there is never enough, not in this life nor after. If God is not satisfied with everything he has, how on earth can you a mere mortal be satisfied with the little in your possession. God is not tired neither is he complaining about multiplying whatever you can bold enough to commit into his trust for multiplication. God created man to be fruitful, multiplying and replenishing and in addition to dominate and subdue. | Gen 1:28. If you are not currently dwelling in these five folds original blessings of man from the beginning, therefore, now is the time, to start dwelling in it by simply cultivating the habit of Giving from today. Praise God!
